HALLE GUIDEN
Hi, I'm Halle! I love what I do because it allows me to connect with people, evoke emotions, and bring ideas to life through visual narratives. Whether it's highlighting the human side of sports, documenting personal milestones, or crafting compelling content for brands, I find fulfillment in every story I tell.
HALLE JEAN MEDIA

My passion for visual storytelling began at a young age, starting when I downloaded Final Cut Pro at eleven and never looked back. It grew alongside my lifelong connection to sports. As a former softball player turned sports filmmaker, I bring an athlete’s perspective and understanding to the stories I tell, shaped by discipline, teamwork, and an appreciation for the moments that define the game beyond the scoreboard.
I am currently a Media Production BFA student at the University of Cincinnati, minoring in Entrepreneurship, and have served as a Creative Video Intern with Bearcats Digital since 2023. In this role, I create cinematic, story-driven content across Big 12 athletics, including football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, and more. My work has been featured on the big screen in Nippert Stadium, Fifth Third Arena, and across many @GoBearcats platforms, contributing to over one million views while capturing the culture, intensity, and identity of Cincinnati Athletics.
Known for thriving in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, I create stories that reflect a team’s culture, brand voice, and competitive spirit. My experience spans social media content, in-arena features, documentaries, interviews, and long-form storytelling, always with a focus on preserving meaningful moments. One of my most impactful experiences includes contributing to a documentary feature highlighting a former UC women’s basketball player’s experience competing with hearing loss, an opportunity that reinforced my commitment to storytelling that honors lived experience.
Beyond collegiate athletics, I have worked as a freelance video producer since high school, collaborating with brands, organizations, and individuals, including Stanley, Steelers running backs coach Eddie Faulkner, Kroger, Rooted Creative, and Step Up. These experiences strengthened my ability to work independently, build trust, and deliver high-quality work under pressure, while reinforcing why storytelling matters to me, which is using film to elevate athletes and contribute to communities in meaningful ways.
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Sony camera systems, I approach every project with intention, curiosity, and care. Whether documenting sport, culture, or personal milestones, my goal remains the same: to tell stories that preserve moments and reflect the people behind them.
WORK EXPERIENCE

2024 - PRESENT
2023 - 2024
2022 - 2023
2019 -2023
I completed a Video Production Internship at Step Up Inc., a nonprofit supporting underserved communities and reentry initiatives in the Summer. I produced videos, graphics, and a storytelling series that highlighted their programs and impact, while also creating media that supported donor engagement and fundraising. It was an amazing experience that let me use my creative skills to help amplify voices and contribute to meaningful community change.
In the summer of 2024, I was honored to be promoted to Lead Intern for the University of Cincinnati's Bearcats Digital Creative Video team. This role has provided me with the opportunity to deepen my involvement in content creation, particularly focusing on the women's basketball program. Collaborating closely with the team, I've been able to craft compelling visual narratives that resonate with our audience and authentically represent the spirit of UC Athletics. I'm grateful for the trust and responsibility entrusted to me, and I'm committed to contributing to the continued growth and success of Cincinnati's brand through innovative and impactful storytelling.
In the summer of 2023, I had the privilege of joining the University of Cincinnati's Bearcats Digital team as a Creative Video Intern. This role allowed me to contribute to the coverage of various sports, including football, soccer, volleyball, swimming, and basketball. I was responsible for producing engaging video content that encapsulated the vibrant culture and spirit of UC Athletics. This experience not only enhanced my technical skills in video production but also deepened my understanding of storytelling within a collegiate sports environment.
I worked as an intern for CMM Productions, a video and photo company for volleyball teams across Indiana. I worked cameras during camps, did photoshoots, and took videos as well for the teams for their season hype videos. I edited and sorted photos as well.
I was the lead editor for 3 years for Olio Road Productions. Excluding 2020 because of Covid, I edited a short film in 2019, and two feature-length films between 2021 and 2023! The films can be found on their YouTube page!
